About the NRF
WHO WE ARE
The National Redistricting Foundation is working to protect the power of every voter.
Founded in 2017, the NRF was created to protect our democracy and ensure that every voice counts. We support critical legal, public education, and advocacy efforts to ensure that redistricting is fair, transparent, and accountable.
When elected officials abuse their power to advance partisan interests, our judicial system is the last defense in restoring a more equitable electoral process, making the NRF’s litigation a crucial tool.
Through its work, the National Redistricting Foundation seeks to advance fair electoral maps and to ensure that state legislatures adhere to the tenets of the U.S. Constitution, the Voting Rights Act, and other essential state and federal protections — so that every community has a voice and every vote counts.
